If you are new to the idea of staying in a bunkhouses Britain. A Welsh bunkhouse is a large holiday cottage designed for groups. Unlike a youth hostel you will not be asked to share a bedroom with strangers, and can book the whole building for the use of your group. The property is self catering, or catering can be offered. Comfortable accommodation, no membership is required, there is no curfew and being truly independent can respond better to guests needs – offering even better value than a hostel, lodge or B&B.
Staying in a bunkhouse is about wanting more than just a bed to sleep in. It's a chance to meet old friends and family, to have space to socialise together, as well as providing you with freedom of self catering. The large lounge and dining room are the heart of the building, unlike booking multiple holiday cottages on one site, staying in a bunkhouse provides you with large comfortable spaces for the whole group to share.
